Specific Media Promotes Paul Oronoz to Regional Vice President, West Coast Sales

IRVINE, Calif. – November 13, 2008 – Specific Media, the world's largest independent media platform, announced today that Paul Oronoz has been promoted to regional vice president of West Coast sales. In his new role, Oronoz will oversee sales and operations initiatives throughout the Western United States, in addition to his current responsibilities leading the company's Southwest offices.

Oronoz joined Specific Media in December 2004 as a senior account executive. He was promoted to director of sales in the Southwest region in 2006, and led the company to incredible growth in the region, adding and growing accounts across multiple vertical categories including the entertainment, retail, consumer electronics, automotive, health and travel sectors. Oronoz also spearheaded efforts to assemble one of the strongest sales forces in the industry.

"Oronoz has been an incredible asset to the company and his track record speaks for itself," said Tim Vanderhook, CEO and co-founder, Specific Media. "His talent in building and leading teams to greater heights correlates directly to our phenomenal growth in the Southwest region. We're confident Oronoz will apply the same winning formula to help us expand our roster of top-tier clients throughout the West Coast."

Oronoz will be tasked with educating clients and prospects about key differentiators that set Specific Media apart in the industry, including the company's proprietary inventory and data technologies that provide the real-time insights, analytics and measurement required to produce media's best ROI. Oronoz will also be charged with growing the Specific Media sales force throughout the Western region, and equipping it with the tools necessary to meet the company's aggressive growth plans.

In February, Specific Media announced a record-breaking annual revenue increase of more than 300 percent. Oronoz's efforts in the Southwest region were an instrumental part of the company's monumental growth.

"We have a tremendous opportunity to further expand the Specific Media client base on the West Coast," said Oronoz. "I look forward to helping to educate advertisers throughout this dynamic region on the many key benefits Specific Media provides, while concurrently growing and scaling a sales force that is known for the best client service in the industry."

Prior to joining Specific Media, Oronoz served as assistant vice president, consumer banking center manager for Bank of America, where he was recognized for top performance in loan origination and deposit growth. Oronoz graduated from California State University Fullerton, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship.
