Technology Council of Southern California Names Specific Media CEO Tim Vanderhook 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year
Los Angeles, CA -- March 3, 2008 -- The Technology Council of Southern California named Tim Vanderhook, co-founder and CEO of Specific Media, Entrepreneur of the Year last week. The awards were presented at the Technology Council's annual gala event on Thursday, February 28, in downtown Los Angeles at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Now in its 14th year, the Technology Industry Awards recognize Southern California-based technology leaders that have made outstanding contributions to the industry over the past year.

Tim Vanderhook co-founded Specific Media, one of the fastest growing companies in the advertising industry, with his two older brothers Chris and Russell when he was 19 years old. Now 27, he guides the company through a media landscape shaped by numerous high-profile and high-value acquisitions in the past year.
